Are you aware of the 2024 Federal Reporting Requirements for LLCs, Corporations and Business Entities?  Congress passed the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) (signed into law on January 1, 2021) expanding anti-money laundering laws and created new reporting requirements for certain companies doing business in the US beginning in 2024.  The disclosure requirement applies to most LLCs, closely held corporations and similar entities.  The CTA requires existing companies to disclose their beneficial ownership information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network ("FinCEN").    For more information about this requirement click on the link https://www.fincen.gov/boi.

Effective December 2, 2024, the Spartanburg MLS is adding Supra Lockbox data fields under the OFFICE INFO section for Residential properties. Listing agents/brokers will need to indicate if a Supra Lockbox is on the property, and if so, to enter the Lockbox Serial Number and Lockbox CBS code.  These fields will also be updated on our Residential Data Profile Sheet.

Please help us spread the word to customers, clients, neighbors... about the REALTOR® Relief Foundation - Mortgage & Rental Assistance for SC Residents whose primary residence was damaged by Hurricane Helene!  Relief assistance is limited to a maximum of $1,000 per household. Click on link below to access the application. Deadline to submit application with expenses is December 31, 2024.

Even a mortgage free property owner can qualify for the $1,000.  If the homeowner does not have a mortgage, they will need to submit a copy of their deed or tax bill in their name with the application.
